WIRE BEZINAL® LIKE ALTERNATIVE TO THE WIRES OF TRIPLE GALVANIZATION.

    The corrosion is the worst enemy in the durability and the infrastructures. Although the Zinc provides a barrier in front of the oxidation of the metals, during the last decade it has appeared a new alloy of Zinc and Aluminum, characterized by a superior resistance to the corrosion and a better mechanical deformation.

 

BEZINAL®

    BEKAERT was the first company in taking the generic license Galfan®, used to define in a general way the alloys of Zinc + Aluminum. After numerous tests and improvements in the coating process, he obtains a line of products with this type of coating wire with the name BEZINAL®.

TESTS OF THE BEZINAL®

    In the enclosed graphics the results are shown obtained in the carried out rehearsals of salt spray:

    1. -  The graph 1 compare the time of formation of red oxide in 5% of the surface of the wire for different layer heavy layer so much of BEZINAL® as of galvanized wires. Of the results it is deduced that a wire with recubrimiento BEZINAL® of 120 gr/m2  shows a resistance to the corrosion between 2 and 3 times superior to that of a wire galvanized with 250 recubrimiento gr/m2.

    2. - In the graph 2 are compared, for the same rehearsal type, the loss of mass of the coat in function of the time. If we compare a galvanized wire of 250 gramos/m2 with a wire BEZINAL® of 120 gramos/m2 we observe that the first one will have liberated in the environment the entirety of their layer in half of time that the wire BEZINAL®. This aspect is of great ecological importance, especially in aquifer, since the zinc is considered non
desirable component in the water in concentrations of so single 5 ppm (part for million), just as it is indicated in the Spanish Real Ordinance 1138/1990.
 

 

RESPECT TO THE ENVIRONMENT

    Having in all that the Zinc is incorporated by diverse vegetable species, a clear risk of entrance exists in the food chain, so much human as animal.

    A recent study subsidized by the Junta de Castilla y León (Spain) and published in the Spanish Magazine of Health it Publishes it indicates:

    “The environmental contamination for Zinc and its effects on the people is not as well-known as in the case of the previously commented elements (cadmium and lead, ndr.) however, every time they are more numerous the studies that show its high concentration in underground waters and of surface, and in those dedicated to the human consumption, always accompanying to high concentrations of other elements... “

    Dear an annual consumption in Spain of 10.300.000 lineal meters of field fence (cattleman and cynegetic) of reinforced galvanization of 250 grs./m2., (75% consumption corresponds south of the country in half) it supposes of the order of 375 Tn of Zinc placed in our fields and cities, of those which annually 46,8 Tn is deposited in the underground by degradation.

    In TREFILERÍA ALISEDA S.L. we have bet for the quality and the respect to the environment, restructuring our production with the new system BEZINAL®. This way, the content of Zinc for square meter is of 53% inferior that the conventional mesh and thanks to the slow degradation that experiences, 2,5 times minor, we get the level of contamination of liberated annual Zinc of the wire to the floor to decrease in 83%.

    Our presence in the national market is located around 40% of the demanded consumption of field fence and cynegetic mesh, this position allows us to contribute notably in the reduction from the levels of aggressive contamination of zinc to the environment.

    The wire is presented in pale, considerably less brilliant gray color that the conventional one and for a smaller environmental impact it takes place.

    Therefore, the BEZINAL® is specially recommended for the production of all fence type to install next to cynegetic interest areas, especially in areas with presence of domestic and wild fauna, as well as cultivation areas or grass.

 

ADVANTAGES OF THE BEZINAL®
